We provide evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help you gain insight and develop tools to live a meaningful life.
Individual counseling consists of one-on-one support and guidance that fosters self-awareness, promotes emotional healing, and equips individuals with coping strategies to address personal challenges. With tailored support, I work alongside clients to achieve their goals and improve their well-being. I focus on creating a nonjudgmental and empathetic environment where clients can gain valuable insights and practical tools.
EMDR/trauma therapy services are designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences by targeting distressing memories and reducing their emotional impact. Through guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR allows the brain to reframe and integrate these memories in a healthier way. This can lead to reduced anxiety and other symptoms linked to trauma, enabling people to move forward with a greater sense of peace.
The ultimate goal of substance abuse counseling is to help individuals and their loved ones build a rich, meaningful life that is no longer confined by addiction. Through compassionate guidance, I help clients gain a deeper understanding of their substance use and develop coping skills to thrive with renewed purpose.
At Arrow Leaf Counseling, I assist partners in strengthening their relationships, improving communication, and repairing past conflicts. My goal is to create a supportive space where couples can enhance their connection and create lasting positive change.
For some students, college is the greatest time of their lives. For others, it is overwhelming, stress-inducing, and lonely. For many, it’s both and often comes with many challenges related to mental health, career exploration, and relationships. Because I am a CU grad, and someone who experienced significant highs and lows during college, I am passion about helping students who find themselves in a similar spot. I work with students to improve their college experience by navigating new environments, identifying their values, and gaining tools to cope with stress and anxiety.
Many people struggle with patterns of self-doubt or criticism, often shaped by past experiences. Therapy creates a space to recognize these harmful thoughts and question their validity. Using approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness, I help clients replace negative beliefs with healthier, more empowering ones. Over time, this process fosters greater self-confidence, allowing individuals to see themselves more clearly and approach life with a renewed sense of worth.
